Still increasing number of bankruptcies
The number of bankruptcies in the first quarter has increased by above 40 per cent compared with the 1st quarter of 2002. The number is also increasing compared with the 4th quarter of 2002.
Most bankruptcies are within sale, other business services and construction.
Regional differences
The number of bankruptcy is increasing in all regions. The highest increase is in the counties Hordaland, Buskerud and Finnmark.
