Slight fall in operating profit

In the third quarter of 2006, listed enterprises had an operating profit of NOK 63 billion, NOK 5 billion less than in the previous quarter. Operating profit margin fell from 21.3 to 19.9 per cent in the same period. However, operating profit and operating profit margin were both higher in the third quarter of 2006 than in the same quarter in 2005.
