Record level of equity

Listed enterprises had almost NOK 664 billions in equity in the first quarter of 2007. This was NOK 31 billion higher compared with the fourth quarter of 2006. It is the highest recorded equity since the statistics was compiled for the first time, in the first quarter of 2002. Equity made up 42.5 per cent of the total capital for listed enterprises, this was also record high.
