Decrease in assets abroad
Non-financial companies’ asset holdings abroad stood at NOK 1 387 billion in the third quarter of 2012, falling NOK 15 billion or 1 per cent from the second quarter.
Assets in foreign countries decreased by about NOK 24 billion or 1.7 per cent from the third quarter of 2011.
Fixed assets abroad fell by NOK 10 billion or 1 per cent, while current assets went down by approximately NOK 5 billion or 1.3 per cent from the second to the third quarter of 2012.
