Value of assets abroad unchanged

The value of Norwegian non-financial enterprises’ total assets abroad was approximately the same in the 1st quarter of 2015 as in the 4th quarter of 2014. Compared to the 1st quarter of 2014, the value was 5.6 per cent higher in the 1st quarter of 2015.

The total liabilities increased by 6.5 per cent from the 4th quarter of 2014 to the 1st quarter of 2015. Due to strong growth in 2014, the liabilities were 16.8 per cent higher in the 1st quarter of 2015 than in the 1st quarter of 2014.
