More short-term liabilities abroad
Norwegian non-financial enterprises’ short-term liabilities abroad are increasing. By the end of the 2nd quarter of 2016 the debt was NOK 467 billion.

The long-term liabilities, however, decreased slightly from the 1st quarter of 2016, but this debt remained above NOK 1 000 billion. The total liabilities were NOK 11 billion higher in the 2nd quarter of 2016 than in the corresponding quarter last year.
The value of the total assets abroad increased by NOK 23 billion from the 1st quarter of 2016 to the 2nd quarter of 2016. The current assets accounted for the increase, while the value of the fixed assets had a slight decrease.
