Producer price index as of September 15, 1996:
Higher prices for crude oil and oil products
Norway's total producer price index rose 1.3 per cent from August to
September. Main factors behind the change are higher prices for crude oil and
chemical products. From September last year to September this year (the
12-month growth rate) the producer price index rose 2.8 per cent after rising
1.9 per cent in August.
