Small changes in number of bankruptcies

A total of 2,636 bankruptcy proceedings were opened in Norway in the three first months of this year. This about the same number as the comparative period last year, when 2,626 bankruptcy proceedings were opened. The number of business bankruptcies totalled 1,657, against 1,669 in the first three quarters of last year. Personal bankruptcies increased by two per cent, to 979.
