The operating profit for listed companies was NOK 61 billion in the last quarter of 2013, up by almost 15 per cent compared to the same quarter of 2012.

The total profit before taxes was NOK 52 billion in the fourth quarter of 2013. This is slightly more than a 1 per cent increase from the same period in 2012, but 7 per cent lower than the previous quarter.
