The number of Norwegian reservations increased from 775,000 in November 1995 to 849,000 in November 1996, with all three hotel groups seeing an almost equally large percentage increase. The increase in the number of Norwegian bookings was largest in Oslo, Oppland and Buskerud. Domestic traffic increased in basically all counties with the exception of Aust-Agder, Møre og Romsdal and Nord-Trøndelag, which saw modest declines.
The number of bookings at Norwegian hotels increased in November 1996 by nine per cent compared to November 1995. Domestic traffic increased by 10 per cent while the number of stays by foreign guests increased five per cent.
