Definition | Income from renting out the ship in the form of a bareboat charter party to foreign charterers. In other words, the charterer takes over both, the management and commercial operation of the ship. The hire is calculated at so much per ton dead weight per calendar month. The charter hire may also be on a Lump Sum, q.v., daily basis. |
