Stable employment rate among disabled people

The employment rate among disabled people has remained stable at 43 per cent over the last three years. The share of the disabled people without employment who want to be employed was 27 per cent in the second quarter of 2015.

The full-time employment rate among disabled people increased from 2012 to 2014. However, during the last year the rate has decreased from 57 to 55 per cent.

Twenty-seven per cent of disabled people without employment wanted to be employed in the second quarter of 2015. For the whole population aged 15-66, the corresponding rate was 36 per cent.

Just 17 per cent of disabled people wanting work were classified as unemployed, according to the criteria on active job seeking and availability for a job, compared to 38 per cent in total.
