Highest growth in loans to employees in Oslo

Total loans from banks and mortgage companies to employees in Norwegian counties increased by 7.1 per cent in 2017 to NOK 2 649 billion. Oslo county had the strongest growth at 9.3 per cent.

At the end of 2017, loans from banks and mortgage companies to employees in Oslo county amounted to NOK 410 billion. This is an increase from NOK 376 billion the previous year. Loans to Oslo county employees also made up the largest share of the total loans to employees, with 15.5 per cent.
Weakest growth in loans in Rogaland county
In 2017, the growth in loans from banks and mortgage Companies to employees was weakest in Rogaland county, at 3.9 per cent. These loans amounted to NOK 268 billion by the end of the year and made up a share of 10.1 per cent of total loans by county to employees.
