Increase in civil engineering works
The inflow of new civil engineering work orders rose by 38 per cent in the third quarter of 2001, compared with the third quarter last year.
The value of the company reserves of unfilled civil engineering orders, increased by 9 per cent over the course of the third quarter of 2001. Compared with the end of the third quarter of 2000, the value increased by 17 per cent.
The value of company reserves for the entire construction industry rose by 3 per cent over the course of the third quarter of 2001.
Fewer new housing projects
Orders for new residential buildings decreased by 5 per cent in the third quarter of 2001 compared to the same quarter of the previous year. The value of the company reserves of new residential building orders is still stable at the same high level. The inflow of new commercial building orders is still quite high compared with last year, and the value of company reserves rose by 8 per cent over the course of the third quarter of 2001.
