Growing activity within electricity supply

Estimates for 2005 are roughly at the same level as the corresponding figures for 2004. Growing activity within electricity supply contributes to maintain the level of investments.

Total investments in 2004 covering manufacturing, mining and quarrying and electricity supply are expected to amount to about NOK 26.9 billion - measured in current value. This is 9 per cent higher than the corresponding figures in 2003. The increase is mostly due to a higher level of investment within manufacturing and electricity supply. Estimates for 2005 are slightly lower than the corresponding figures for 2004. Growing activity within electricity supply contributes to maintain the level of investment.
