High investment estimates for 2009

The first estimates for 2009 indicate a somewhat higher level of investment than in the current year.

Estimated investments 1989-2008 collected 2nd quarter same year. Mill. current NOK

Total investments in 2008 covering manufacturing, mining and quarrying and electricity supply are expected to amount to NOK 48.4 billion, measured in current value. This is 21 per cent higher than the corresponding figure for 2007. The estimate for 2009 is somewhat higher than the corresponding figure for 2008, but there is a considerable degree of uncertainty related to estimates given at such an early stage.
