Record high first-time estimates for 2011
Total investments in oil and gas activity in 2011, including pipeline transportation, are NOK 146.3 billion in the first-time estimate. The estimate for 2010 is adjusted upward at NOK 139.7 billion.
The estimate for 2011 is NOK 10.2 billion higher than the corresponding estimate for 2010 given in the 2n d quarter of 2009. The increase is due to sharply higher estimates for fields on stream, while the estimates indicate downward adjustments in the level of investment in exploration, field development, onshore activity and pipeline transportation.
The investments for exploration activity in 2011 are now estimated at NOK 30.1 billion. The estimate is NOK 3 billion lower than the estimation for 2010 given in the 2n d quarter of 2009.
Investments for field development and fields on stream in 2011 are estimated at NOK 109.7 billion. This is NOK 14.3 billion higher than the corresponding estimate given for 2010.
Onshore activities and pipeline transportation are estimated at NOK 5.8 and 0.7 billion respectively.
