Deliveries of motor gasoline down
The deliveries of motor gasoline in June totalled 190 million litres, 5.9 per cent less than in June 2000. The deliveries of auto diesel decreased by 5.5 per cent to 159 million litres, of which tax bound auto diesel made up 4.4 per cent.
For the past 6 months deliveries of motor gasoline and auto diesel rose compared with the first 6 months in 2000. Motor gasoline increased by 2.3 per cent and auto diesel by 6.8 per cent. The deliveries of tax bound diesel showed a growth of 7.3 per cent.
Total deliveries: Down 5.5 per cent
The total deliveries of petroleum products showed a 5.5 per cent decline in June while the deliveries increased by 1.6 per cent during the first 6 months. In June, deliveries of most petroleum products declined, except for deliveries of light heating oil and lighting and heating kerosene that went up by 3.1 and 3.0 per cent respectively.
Deliveries to ship in ocean transport
The deliveries to ship in ocean transport totalled 91 million litres in June, of which heavy fuel oil made up 32 million litres and marine gas oil 57 million litres. Deliveries of heavy fuel oil decreased by 21.6 per cent while the deliveries of marine gas oil rose by 19.6 per cent. For the past 6 months the changes were a 4.1 per cent increase for marine gas oil and a 19.6 per cent decrease for heavy fuel oil.
The past 12 months
The total deliveries of petroleum products for the past 12 months were 9 127 million litres, 4.1 per cent less than in the previous 12-month period. Most products had fewer deliveries in this period. The deliveries of auto diesel showed a small increase of 0.3 per cent. Heavy fuel oil showed the biggest decrease, 15.3 per cent.
There were 20 delivery days in June 2001 as in June 2000.
