Fewer deliveries of petroleum products
The total deliveries of petroleum products decreased by 10.6 per cent in October compared with October 2003, and totalled 787 million litres. Heating products contributed the most to the decrease, but the deliveries of almost all the remaining products declined as well.
For the past 12 months the deliveries came to 9 280 million litres, a 2.6 per cent decrease compared with the previous 12-month period.
Heating products
In October the deliveries of light heating oil and heating and lighting kerosene decreased by 41.5 and 38.0 per cent respectively. During the past 12 months the deliveries of the same products fell by 23.2 and 21.2 per cent respectively.
Auto diesel and motor gasoline
The deliveries of auto diesel came to 198 million litres, a 6.7 per cent decrease compared with October last year. For the past 12 months the deliveries of auto diesel increased by 3.8 per cent.
The deliveries of motor gasoline decreased by 7.1 per cent in October and fell by 1.7 per cent in the past 12-month period.
There were 21 delivery days in October 2004 against 23 in October 2003.
