Sales of petroleum products and liquid biofuels, June 2006, preliminary figures

Since 2004 the sales of motor gasoline has decreased while the sales of auto diesel has increased. This continues though out the fist half of 2006. Compared to the fist half of 2005, there was a decrease in the sales of motor gasoline by 7 per cent or 73 million litres. Total sales of auto diesel ended at 1.2 billion litres in the fist six months of 2006, an increased by 77 million litres or 6.7 per cent compared to the same period in 2005. Sale of motor gasoline makes out 21.2 per cent of the total sale of petroleum products. Sale of auto diesel makes out 26.8 per cent of the total sales.

Sales of jetfuel had an increase of 10.1 per cent in the fist half of 2006 compared with the same period in 2005. The sale amounted to 421 million litres.

Sales light heating oils increased by 9.2 per cent, while sales of lighting decreased by 1,8 per cent res.

There were 21 delivery days in June, in June 2005 there where 22.
