Sales of petroleum products and liquid biofuels, August 2007, preliminary figures

There was a decrease in the sales of motor gasoline by 5.7 per cent or 11 million litres in August 2007, compared with August 2006. In the same period, sales of auto diesel increased by 11 per cent or 28 million litres. Total sales of motor gasoline ended at 183 million litres, while sales of auto diesel ended at 267 million litres.

Sales of heating and lighting kerosene and light heating oils decreased by 27.9 and 47.8 per cent respectively, compared with August 2007.

There were 23 delivery days in August, the same as in August 2007.
