Increased sales of diesel

Total sales of petroleum products came to a total of 890 million litres in October 2007, an increase by 1.7 per cent compared with the same period last year. The sales of auto diesel increased the most.

Total sales increased by 15 million liters or 1.7 per cent in October. The largest increase was seen in sales of auto diesel with an increase of 16.2 per cent compared to October 2006. Total sales of auto diesel ended at 290 million liters this October. In the same period, sales of motor gasoline decreased by 5 million liters, with total sales ending at 164 million liters. Sales of motor gasoline and auto diesel make out 51 per cent of the total sales of petroleum products.

The sales of light heating oils decreased by 11 million liters in October, while sales of heating and lighting kerosene decreased by 2 million litres. In October total sales of jet fuel ended at 76 million litres, a small decrease by 2 million litres compared to the same period last year.

There were 23 delivery days in October, while there where 22 in October last year.
