Sales of petroleum products and liquid biofuels, November 2007, preliminary figures

Sales of heating and lighting kerosene and light heating oils decreased by 12.5 and 22.1 per cent respectively in November this year compared to the same period last year. In the same period sales of motor gasoline decreased by 7.6 per cent or 12 million liters. Total sales ended at 145 million liters.

The increase in sales of auto diesel continued in November, total sales ended at 250 million litres - an increase of 3.6 per cent or 9 million litres. Sales of auto diesel amounted to 29.8 per cent of the total sale of petroleum products. Total deliveries of marine gas oil and diesel came to 178 million litres in November, an increase of 17.8 per cent compared to the same period in 2006.

There were 22 delivery days in November, the same as November last year.
