Small increase in sales of petroleum products
In May , total sales of petroleum products ended at 800 million litres; an increase by 10.4 million litres or 1.3 per cent compared to May last year.
In May, sales of auto diesel ended at 274 million litres; a 4.9 per cent increase or 12.8 million litres more than in May 2010. For the same period, sales of motor gasoline decreased by 12.9 per cent or 18.4 million litres and total sales ended at 124 million litres. For the products together, there is a decrease in sales that equals 1.4 per cent or 5.7 million litres. Sales of auto diesel and motor gasoline amounted to 50 per cent of the total sales of petroleum products.
Sales of jet fuel ended at 92 million litres in May, 6.8 million litres or 7.9 per cent more than in May 2010. Sales of marine gas oils and diesel account for 19 per cent of total sales of petroleum products. In May sales ended at 155 million litres; a 3.3 per cent increase.
There were 21 delivery days in May, in May 2010 there were 18. |
