No change in August sales
Total sales of petroleum products ended at 875 million litres in August, which is approximately the same amount as in August last year. Sales of auto diesel increased, while sales of motor gasoline decreased.
Overall, sales of auto diesel and motor gasoline increased by 2.6 per cent or 12 million litres and amounted to 451 million litres in August this year. Sales of auto diesel ended at 310 million litres; a 22 million litre increase. At the same time, sales of motor gasoline decreased by 10 million litres and sales ended at 141 million litres.
Prices on both auto diesel and motor gasoline increased. One litre of 95 octane unleaded gasoline cost NOK 14.061; an increase of NOK 1.59, while one litre of auto diesel cost on average NOK 13.09; NOK 1.52 more than one year ago.
Other products
In August, sales of Jet Fuel ended at 87 million litres, which is a 6 per cent decrease. Sales of marine gas oil and diesel ended at 163 million litres; a 0.3 per cent decrease.
Delivery daysThere were 23 delivery days in August this year, in August 2010 there were 22. |
