Sales of petroleum products decreased by 5.4 per cent from May 2012 to May this year, ending at 799 million litres.

Sales of petroleum products. May 2000-2013. Million litres

Sales of auto diesel decreased by 1.9 per cent and amounted to 311 million litres in May this year, which is 6 million litres less than in May 2012. Meanwhile, auto diesel prices decreased by 2.7 per cent. In May, one litre cost on average NOK 12.87, while in May 2012 the price was NOK 13.23. Sales of auto diesel made up 38.9 per cent of total sales of petroleum products.

Sales of motor gasoline amounted to 117 million litres; a 10.7 per cent or 14 million litre decrease. The price went down from NOK 15.88 in May 2012 to NOK 14.55 in May this year; a 2.3 per cent decrease.

In May this year, there were 19 delivery days, compared to 20 in May 2012.
