Decrease in sales of petroleum products

Total sales of petroleum products ended at 746 million litres in November. This is 52 million litres less than in November 2012 and equals a 6.5 per cent decrease.

Total sales of auto diesel ended at 321 million litres, which is 10 million litres more than in November last year. At the same time, sales of motor gasoline decreased by 12 million litres, ending at 95 million litres. Sales of motor gasoline and auto diesel combined made up about 52 per cent of the total sales of petroleum products.

The average price for one litre of auto diesel was NOK 13.29; a NOK 0.27 increase from November 2012. One litre of motor gasoline cost NOK 14.63; NOK 0.31 more than in November last year.

There were 21 delivery days in November this year, compared to 22 in November 2012.
