Reduced prices on petroleum products

In February one litre of diesel cost on average NOK 12.14. The last time prices where equally low where in November 2010. One litre of gasoline cost an average of NOK 13.55, which is the lowest level since February 2011.

The average price of a litre of diesel was NOK 12.14, which represents a decrease of NOK 0.33 from January and a NOK 1.29 decrease from February 2014. In February 2015, total sales of diesel amounted to 286 million litres. This equals a 12 million litre increase compared to January 2015.

A litre of gasoline on average cost NOK 13.55. This corresponds to a decrease of NOK 0.23 from January and a decrease of NOK 1.30 from February 2014. Sales of gasoline ended at 81 million litres; a decrease of 5 million litres from February last year.

Total sales of petroleum products ended at 613 million litres in February, a 14 million litres decrease.
