Small decrease in sales

In October, total sales of petroleum products amounted to 783 million litres. This is 6 million litres less than in October 2014. Sales of some petroleum products decreased, while others increased.

Total sales of gasoline ended at 99 million litres; the same as in October 2014. Sales of diesel amounted to 347 million litres in October. This equals approximately a one million litre increase compared to October 2014.

A litre of gasoline on average cost NOK 13.50. This corresponds to a decrease of NOK 1.70 from October last year and a decrease of NOK 0.19 from September to October.

The average price of a litre of diesel was NOK 12.05, which represents a decrease of NOK 0.77 from October last year and a small decrease of NOK 0.01 from September to October this year.
