Further increase in roundwood sales and prices
A total of 2.4 million cubic metres of timber were cut for sale in the 4th quarter of 2014. This is 14 per cent more than in the corresponding quarter of 2013. The average timber price rose by 12 per cent in the same period.

The aggregated gross value of roundwood sold to the manufacturing industry was NOK 847 million in the third quarter of 2014; an increase of 28 per cent compared with the corresponding quarter in 2013. On average, forest owners obtained NOK 354 per cubic metre of timber; an increase of NOK 39.
