Slight decrease in roundwood sales
A total of 2.3 million cubic metres of timber were cut for sale in the 3rd quarter of 2016. This is a decrease of 2.3 per cent compared with the corresponding quarter of 2015. In the same period, the average timber price increased by 1.3 per cent.

The aggregated gross value of roundwood sold to the manufacturing industry totalled NOK 740 million in the third quarter of 2016; a decrease of NOK 7 million compared with the third quarter in 2015. On average, the forest owners obtained NOK 323 per cubic metre of timber; an increase of NOK 4.
