Annual non-financial sector accounts, national accounts, 2007

A of 7 June 2017 the statistics will be published as Quarterly non-Financial sector accounts, national accounts.

The institutional sector accounts record economic transactions of the institutional sectors in national accounts. Non-financial and financial accounts by institutional sector is updated quarterly in StatBank.

Revised household savings for 2007

There have been some minor revisions in the institutional sector accounts for 2007. The revised figures show that household savings were NOK 7.5 billion higher than previous calculations.

The revision includes a downward adjustment of interest expenses and an upward adjustment of wages. The saving rate for households in 2007 is estimated to -0.4 per cent.

The sector accounts have also been updated with new figures for general government income and expenses. This caused an upward revision of net lending of NOK 4 billion for general government. Net lending for 2007 now constitutes NOK 396 billion.
