Continued low growth in architectural prices

Prices of architectural services increased by 2.7 per cent in the fourth quarter of 2004 compared with the same quarter in 2003.

Price index for architectural services. 2000=100

The total change in prices for 2004 compared with 2003 shows an increase of 2.8 per cent. This is the lowest yearly change since Statistics Norway stared the collection of data in 1998.

From the third to the fourth quarter of 2004 the prices increased by 0.6 per cent. The price index started in the first quarter of 1998. The index has increased by 39.5 per cent since Statistics Norway published it for the first time.
