In November 2012, 13 persons were killed in road traffic accidents, according to preliminary figures.

The average for November over the last 10 years is 19 fatalities. In November 2011, 13 persons were killed.

Of the fatalities last month, there were five car drivers, one cyclist, five pedestrians, one person sledging and one other road user.

Police figures

The statistics are based on accidents reported to the police. Less severe accidents and injuries are often not reported to the police, and may therefore be underrepresented in the figures.
