16 people killed in road traffic accidents
In February 2014, 16 persons were killed in road traffic accidents, according to preliminary figures. In February 2013, the corresponding figure was 9.

The average for February over the last 10 years is 14 fatalities.
Of the fatalities last month, 11 were men and five were women. Eight of the fatalities were car drivers, five were car passengers and three were pedestrians.
