Fewer killed on the road in September
In September 2014, 14 persons were killed according to preliminary figures. In September 2013, the corresponding figure was 19.

The average for September over the last 10 years is 18 fatalities.
Of the fatalities last month, eleven were men and three were women. Six of the fatalities were car drivers, three were car passengers, one was a motorcyclist, two were cyclists, one was a pedestrian and there was one other road user.
A total of 130 persons have been killed in traffic accidents on Norwegian roads so far this year.
