11 people killed in road traffic accidents
In May 2015, 11 persons were killed in road traffic accidents, according to preliminary figures. In May 2014, the corresponding figure was 18.

The average for May over the last 10 years is 17 fatalities.
Of the fatalities last month, nine were men and two were women. Three of the fatalities were car drivers, one was a passenger, four were motorcyclists, two were cyclists and one was a pedestrian.
