16 killed on the roads in June
In June 2016, 16 persons were killed on Norwegian roads according to preliminary figures. In June 2015, the corresponding figure was 7.

The average for June over the last 10 years is 21 fatalities.
The fatalities last month were thirteen men and three women. Of the fatalities last month six were car drivers, one was a car passenger, six were motorcyclists, one was a cyclist, one was a pedestrian, and one was in the category “other road user”.
