The road traffic accident statistics show the number of fatalities and injuries by different variables and vehicles involved. There were 22 fatalities in July 2016 compared to 15 in the same month in 2015.

In July 2016, 22 persons were killed on Norwegian roads according to preliminary figures. In July 2015, the corresponding figure was 15.

The average for July over the last 10 years is 20 fatalities.

The fatalities last month were seventeen men and five women. Of the fatalities last month, ten were car drivers, four were car passengers, three were motorcyclists, one was a moped rider, one was a cyclist, one was a pedestrian, and two were other road users.
