Export prices continues upward trend

The prices of exported goods rose for the fourth quarter in a row in the 1st quarter 2017.

An upward trending price of oil during the period was an important contributor. In addition, the change from the corresponding quarter the previous year was 18.5 percent, the highest since 2011. Higher prices on both crude oil and natural gas were important contributors.
