Minor changes in retail sales

The seasonally-adjusted volume index of retail sales increased by 0.2 per cent from April to May this year.

Retail sales volume index seasonally adjusted. 2002-2010.

The non-adjusted volume index decreased by 3.2 per cent from May 2009 to May 2010. During this period, the volume index, excluding petrol stations, decreased by 3.0 per cent.

From May last year to May this year the value index decreased by 1.6 per cent, and the value index excluding petrol stations decreased by 2.2 per cent.
