Increased cross border trade

Norwegians went on 6.3 million day trips abroad and spent NOK 9.6 billion on cross border trade in the period from the second quarter of 2007 to the first quarter of 2008. This is an increase of 9 per cent in spending and 8 per cent in the number of trips, compared with the previous period.
