Decreased cross border trade

Norwegians went on 5.7 million day trips abroad and spent NOK 8.6 billion on cross border trade in the period from the fourth quarter of 2007 to the third quarter of 2008. This is a decrease of 7 per cent in spending and 11 per cent in the number of trips, compared with the previous period.
