Increased cross border trade

Norwegians went on 4.7 million day trips abroad and spent NOK 7.6 billion on cross border trade in the first nine month of 2009.

Compared with 2008, there has been an increase of 12 per cent in the number of trips and 21 per cent in retail spending.
