NOK 8 billion for beauty treatment
In 2010, the local kind-of-activity units within other personal service activities had a total turnover of NOK 12.4 billion. This is an increase of 4.3 per cent.
Within hairdressing and other beauty treatment, the total turnover was NOK 8 billion in 2010. This is an increase of 3.4 per cent compared to 2009. The employment increased by 1.4 per cent, to a total of 16 334 persons.
Units within washing and dry-cleaning of textile and fur products had a total turnover of NOK 2.2 billion in 2010 and employed 2 710 persons. This is an increase of 4.6 and 2.6 per cent respectively.
Unchanged within repairs
The 1 288 units that operate within repair of computers and personal household goods had a turnover of NOK 2.2 billion, approximately the same as in 2009. A total of 2 545 persons were employed in 2010, which is a decrease of 2.8 per cent compared to 2009.
Statistics at enterprise levelThe structural business statistics are published at enterprise and local KAU level. The figures at enterprise level will generally differ from figures at local KAU level. This is due to some enterprises being registered in one industry group according to main activity, whilst having local KAUs in other groups. |

Preliminary figures have fewer variables than final figures and are only published at enterprise level.
