Definition | The credit indicator C2 is an approximate measure of the size of the gross domestic debt of the general public (households, non-financial enterprises and municipalities) in NOK and foreign currency. Gross domestic debt includes loans in NOK and foreign currency to the public by domestic banks, finance companies, mortgage companies, life and non-life insurance companies, pension funds, state lending institutions, the Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund and Norges Bank. The C2 also includes the public's bond loan debt to domestic lenders and the public's certificate debt in the domestic marked. |
