Definition | Total consumption in power-intensive manufacturing is the sum of flexible and ordinary consumption in power-intensive manufacturing. Power-intensive manufacturing is defined as pulp and paper production, industrial chemicals, iron, steel and ferro-alloys in addition to primary aluminium and other metals. The contracts for ordinary and flexible power are different. Flexible power can be stopped in the event of limited net capacity. |
