Unemployment at 4.1 per cent

Adjusted for seasonal variations, unemployed persons accounted for 4.1 per cent of the labour force in November. Unemployment is thus the same as in August.

According to seasonally-adjusted numbers from the Labour Force Survey (LFS) there were 115 000 unemployed persons in November (average of October-December). From August (average of July–September) the seasonally-adjusted unemployment increased by 1 000 persons, however this is clearly within the margin of error in the LFS.
