Adjusted for seasonal variations, there were 118 000 unemployed persons in June. This corresponded to 4.3 per cent of the labour force, down 0.2 percentage points from March.

From March (average of February – April) to June (average of May – July), the seasonally-adjusted unemployment decreased by 0.2 percentage points, or 5 000 persons. This change is within the Labour force survey (LFS) margin of error.
