28.3 million kilometers on roads and water
Ambulances and ambulance-boats drove more than 28.3 million kilometers during 2005. This is close to 60 km per assignment. The total number of assignments have increased steadily over the last four years, from 458 000 in 2002 to close to 497 000 in 2005.
